EVALUATE

Evaluation of investigation:
For the investigation part of the design cycle part of my project i did a very well job. for starters i looked over the question to have a clear understanding of what it is  i have to do. I made the effort to look back and reanalyze the question and what it is asking me. from there i designed a brief example. From the work i did i would give myself on a scale from 1-6 a 3,4,or 5. because i know i could have done more.

Evaluate the plan:

Create

19.  Did I follow my Plan ?
Yes while doing the create part of the project i followed my plan and went step by step to finish. First i got the info. i needed to show the parts in the design cycle while using the design cycle to complete it. i then got pictures and examples to help understand and remember/ learn.
20.  How could I have improved on my creation?
I know that i didn't do the best job ever but i did a well thought out job and put the things in order from what i had planed and could successfully do but never the less i could have done much better. i could of made it more fun and interesting to the ones i am showing. i could have done a lot of things to improve my creation but for the work i did put in it is nicely done.
21.  What will I do next time that I did not do this time?
This time i know i could have done better on explaining and making my project worth wild i was not very prepared and for all iv done i have been trying to cover the most simple mistakes up. Next time for sure i will make an effort to get  everything i am gonna  do ready to be done.

1. How can my learning serve my community?
Based on my goal which is to graduate high school i know my learning will help and improve the things i will do. I will be more educated to survive in a community.

2. How can your future projects become better?
I could always add more interesting and fun things to what i do. i could use my brain to think about what would be the best thing to help learn, present, or teach.

3. What have you learned about yourself and what you will continue to do or not do and why?

i have learned that i need to take a little bit more time on explaining my answer so i will continue to take time and think of what it is i am suppose to do.

4. How do you feel about your final product? What would you rate yourself on the Rubric scale of 1-6 for each part of the Assessment Criterion?
from a scale from 1 to 6 i would give myself a 5 because i know i could have done more.

5. What would you do differently in regards to your planning and execution of your plan?
make it more interesting and fun to do so people could fully under stand.

INVESTIGATION REFLECTION

These last two weeks you have worked on your investigation process. Reflect and rate yourself using the rubric PLUS copy your response to your blog. Post with the subject INVESTIGATION REFLECTION. When you are finished continue with your 3 brainstorming designs.

Based on the two weeks i have been doing on my investigation process i think i should gain a grade of 3-4. the reason i would give myself a 3-4 is because i have worked hard, stayed after school and made an effort to try my best. but with honesty i could have done much better trying to fix my problem with the computer sooner. the reason i gave my self this grade is because i did my best but i could have reached past my best to the extreme.so those are the reason and grade i would give myself on my investigation.

0 You did not reach a standard described by any of the descriptors given below.
1–2 (60 / 70)You stated the problem.
You investigated the problem, collecting information from few sources.
You listed some specification points.
3–4 (75 / 85) You described the problem, mentioning its relevance.
You investigated the problem, selecting and analysing information from some acknowledged sources.
You described a test to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.
5–6 (95 / 100) You explained the problem, discussing its relevance.
You critically investigated the problem, evaluating information from a broad range of appropriate, acknowledged sources.
You described detailed methods for appropriate testing to evaluate the product/solution against the design specification.

Type a complete paragraph explaining your rating.

DESIGN BRIEF & DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.  I am going to create a powerpoint explaining the design cycle and it will be used to teach to a 6th grader.

Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?

  • Teach the design cycle
  • minimum of 2 minutes
  • use pictures to make it fun to understand.
  • make it clear and age understanding
  • has to be good and all complete with every step.

12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment? is to make it able to learn reach for the goal of helping a 6th grader learn and make it fun.

13. How will you "test" your project?
to test my product after the presentation every child will be given a fun work sheet and when they finish that they will list on a paper what they learned about the design cycle.
